Wednesday Words

Good Wednesday Morning Everyone,

Today is the anniversary of the opening of the New York Post Office Building in 1914. The inscription on the building says, “Neither snow nor rain not heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds.” Everyone thinks this is the motto for the United States Postal Service, but it was only the motto inscribed on this one Post Office. Mail Couriers actually have never agreed to a commitment to deliver the mail no matter the circumstances. Like we didn’t figure that out a long time ago!

Our Specials today are “Sloppy Joe’s (Beef or Veggie) served with French Fries” and “Jambalaya with Chicken, Sausage, and Shrimp, in a Cajun Sauce, served over Pasta, with Garlic Bread.”

Our Soups today are, “Creamy Chicken Tortilla” and “French Onion (V).”

Stay cool today. We still have today and tomorrow to deal with the heat!

Thanks,

Tada!
